*Impact Acceleration Account funding call to include, but not 
exclusively(*), EPSRC funded PhD activity.*

**This call is also open to those wishing to exploit any EPSRC supported 
research/activity.*

The University of Strathclyde's EPSRC Impact Acceleration Account will 
accelerate the impact from Strathclyde's EPSRC-funded research 
portfolio, with the aim of improving society and the economy.

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has 
awarded a £1.86million investment to the University of Strathclyde to 
support the development of impact from our EPSRC-funded research portfolio.

Applications are invited to apply for the following funding packages;

1.*Commercialisation activity*-- do you have research that has 
commercial potential i.e. spin out the technology into a commercial 
venture, license the technology to another partner, undertake 
consultancy for an external partner. Packages of up to £50k are 
available to support the development of your technology to move it 
closer to realising its potential in any of these fields.

2.*Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)* - External partner engagement 
with the potential to develop into a KTP, packages of up £15K are 
available to undertake external situational activities in preparation 
for a KTP application.Such activity may include, but is not limited to, 
partner identification through funded networking events or, where a 
potential partner is already identified, feasibility or proof of concept 
evaluations prior to committing to a KTP.

For those linking their application to EPSRC PhD Studentship research 
must agree to sign the Intellectual Property over to the University.
