Hello Christine

I hope all is well with you. We're currently putting together the next 
edition of Prism, including a section entitled With Honours, which 
highlights the achievements and successes of staff members.

We normally highlight one staff member from each faculty and I was 
hoping to find out if you knew of anyone in Science who might be a 
suitable  candidate. It's usually prizes, awards or unusual achievements 
related to their academic work- for example, in previous editions we 
featured Des Higham's Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award and 
awards made by the Royal Society of Chemistry to Karen Faulds and Rein 
Ulijn. We tend not to feature regular research grants, though we  may 
consider any which are particularly prestigious- such as the one awarded 
to Des by the Royal Society.

It would be great if you might have any ideas for the feature- we write 
a brief (about 100 words) profile for each person highlighted and we'd 
be aiming to get a draft completed within the next week or so.
