[Academic] Fwd: Visiting Professors

Dear All,

Its time for nomination / re-appointment of Visiting Professors - see 
below and attached.

I plan to nominate one (Prof Ian Ferguson, Charlotte NC) and in addition 
want others, including at least one female. I summarise the criteria as:
1. Active Professor with international profile and strong track record.
2. Engagement with Department - i.e. overlap of research interests, or other
3. VP will visit (....as in the title)

Please send me nominations, in particular of females, who satisfy the 
above together with a paragraph saying why the criteria are 
satisfied...... by 18th October, please. If we go forward I'll need a CV 
but please don't contact candidates at this stage.

Catherine or myself will email separately those who are the contact 
point for VPs up for re-appointment.
