Hi John,
With respect to the Impact Statement, it may be small in terms of the income, but Strathclyde (if you include the IoP and the work done directly by the hosted SUPA KT Technologist) was awarded 16 SUPA Start feasibility or 'pump-prime' projects (worth ~£80K, ~£160K if you include the company contribution) in a variety of industry areas from laser companies to renewable energy firms, securing jobs and increasing company turnover. Happy to provide further details.
Richard

Subject: [Academic] REF Environment and Impact Statements

Dear All,

Attached are the current versions of the UoA9 Environment and Impact statements.
These are important documents which set the scene for our REF submission, and will be worth a significant portion of the score that we get.

Please take the time to read them and pass any comments back to me.
In particular I would like to know whether there is anything missed out that ought to be there, or if there are any factual errors, but even if your only comment is to suggest a better turn of phrase that would be good to know.

Also, if you have not passed on your measures of esteem to me I can still get them included in the table at the end.

Regards
John
