[Academic] Fwd: Appointment of Vice-Deans

To: Members of academic professional staff, all departments

The Executive Dean, Professor Iain Hunter, has asked me to inform you 
that he is seeming to appoint two Vice-Deans to the Faculty of Science, i.e.

1Vice-Dean (Research), to replace Professor Rein Ulijn (PAC), who 
demitted office at 31 Jan 2014;

2Vice-Dean (Academic), to replace Dr Christopher Prior (SIPBS), whose 
appointment ends on 31 July 2014.

Appointments will be made to each post for a period of 3 years in the 
first instance.  The appointment of the Vice-Dean (Research) could be 
for a further period, i.e. from now until the end of Jul 2014.
