Dear all,

I have been approached by Mark Ellis and Marion Sheridan from HaSS regarding the possibility of developing a new cross-Faculty VIP activity that is based on the use of performance to raise public awareness of, and prompt public engagement in, topical issues in Science. The attached expression of interest presented to the VIP coordinating team outlines the ideas. I believe it could be of interest to those already involved in Science outreach activities such as public engagement and schools liaison. If anyone is interested contributing to such an activity, or in exploring opportunities in this area further, please contact Marion, Mark or myself.
