Dear Thorsten,
it looks to me that the photograph is a photomontage.
If so, I would suggest to add a caption saying:
“This photo is a photomontage. No animals or academic researchers were injured during its production,
although few safety officers suffered minor apoplectic fits’.

Hi Thorsten
A colleague brought this impressive photo to my attention, which I believe was taken in Physics and appears on the University webpages. Apart from the user wearing safety glasses, I would be grateful if you would comment on what other safety measures were taken on this occasion, particularly in view of the open beams and protection of the photographer involved. Also, do glasses such as these usually bear the CE marking permanently on the lens?
