Dear All,
Paul McCartney and Mark Goosens, from the Fraunhofer Centre for Applied Photonics (FCAP), will be giving an introduction to the centre on Monday 26th at 2pm in JA 8.11.
Fraunhofer provides R&D services to industry and provides a valuable link between the University and the commercial sector. FCAP is the UK’s first Fraunhofer and opens up many opportunities for maximising the impact of our research, so this is a good chance to see how you can engage. FCAP is already involved in joint projects with Strathclyde and has co-sponsored a number of PhD studentships.
Mark and Paul have many years experience in the photonics industry and are happy to answer questions and have some time to tour labs after the presentation.
Best regards,
Keith
