Hi all,

I am updating information on the Universities UK webpage re PhD opportunities at Strathclyde.
Annabel has provided me with the most up to date materials for Engineering departments and I have uploaded the Science research booklet but feel free to send me anything in the form of a PDF that you want updated.

If you get any enquiries re PhDs under SWB, as well as engaging with the applicant re their topic and encouraging them to apply and get an offer as usual, please also give them the following instructions:

Once they have an offer from the UK University, they can then make an application for funding directly to Ciência sem Fronteiras (CsF).
Please direct the applicant to the webpage below for the funding application process -the SwB UK team at UUK can help with the application process.

Important points to note are that


  *   for sandwich PhD students -they must discuss applying for an SwB UK scholarship with  their current supervisor in Brazil and the Brazilian University supervisor must support the application.


  *   Even if they have already identified a supervisor in the UK, they should still contact the SwB UK office to inform them of plans so that they can support arrangements.
