A reminder for those interested that deadlines for the various UG summer 
project schemes are approaching :

Interns at Strathclyde - student and supervisor submit 2-part application 
via Sharepoint by Friday 6th March

Carnegie UG Vacation bursary - student/supervisor submit joint 
application to me by Friday 6th March

EPSRC vacation bursary - supervisor submits application form to Shona 
Cameron in RKES by Monday 9th March (form attached as the university's 
vacation bursary webpage has not been updated from 2014)

There will a presentation in JA 3.17 at 2pm on Wed 11th February to 3rd & 4th year UG students about opportunities for Summer Research Projects in the department.

If you would like to offer a project and are looking for a student, either come along to present your project or send me a slide and I'll present it for you.

Details of available projects and funding schemes will also be available on the MyPlace page "Physics Summer Projects".
