EUROPEAN FUNDING:

Horizon 2020: Marie Sklodowska-Curie: Individual Fellowships – call now open.
The 2015 Individual Fellowships (IF) call has been published on the European Commission Participant portal. <http://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/calls/h2020-msca-if-2015.html>
Individual Fellowships offer individual transnational fellowships to the most promising experienced researchers in Europe and beyond.

There are two main types of fellowship:

·         European – these take place at a host institution within a European Member State or Associated Country and involved either movement within Europe or movement from a third country to Europe.

·         Global – these take place at an institution in a third country, outside Europe, and involved movement from Europe to the third country.  Global fellowships have a mandatory 12 month return phase to a European host.


The deadline for application is 10 September 2015.



B.BICE Travel Grants UK/Brazil:
The B.BICE+ project has launched two calls to finance different modalities of working visits and exchanges between Europe and Brazil for research and innovation actors.
The deadline for applications is 6 April 2015.


·         First call: travel grants for research actors – B.BICE will finance EU-Brazil travel to participant in international scientific events (with the aim of promoting EU-Brazil collaborative Projects) or working visits (to build or reinforce a long term partnership or future EU-Brazil collaborative research project) for research actors working for institutions based in Brazil or EU Member States/Associated Countries

·         Second Call: exchange visits for innovation actors – finance for one representative of a Brazilian or European institution willing to organise a visit exchange to a partner institution.  The call is particularly targeted at representatives of innovation organisations, laboratories or research institutions, innovation agencies and networks. Exchanges of up to EUR 3000 will be financed.

B.BICE+ is an International Cooperation (INCO) project funded by the European Commission aiming to enhance bilateral cooperation and to support political dialogue in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) among Europe and Brazil.
