[Academic] IMPORTANT: Diversity in the Workplace

At the departmental committee earlier this week I highlighted the need for all staff to complete the Diversity in the Workplace survey, please see below.  This is being driven forward by the Equality and Diversity Manager and is endorsed by the University.  The department has been reminded of its importance and that staff should engage in the process.

The University is committed to ensuring that staff share an understanding of the importance of Equality and Diversity issues in the University. As part of the commitment to achieving this, all staff members are required to undertake and complete the on-line Diversity in the Workplace Module. The comprehensive module takes an hour to complete. I would be very grateful for your assistance in encouraging staff to complete this course. For information, your department's completion rate for the Diversity in the Workplace e-module<http://www.strath.ac.uk/equalitydiversity/equalitycourses/> is:
48 staff members have completed and 89 staff not started.
