To PH450 Project Supervisors,

The PH450 Project students are to hand in a progress report on Friday 2/12/2016 at 4pm. It is a short form (should be no more than 1 side of A4) for them to list the steps they have undertaken and key points of progress in their project. The progress report is not marked but it is an important opportunity for student self-assessment and for you to see how your student perceives how the project is going.

They should bring to you (both primary and secondary supervisors) the form to be signed and dated prior it to be handed in to JA8.31. They should also submit a PDF version to MyPlace which will then be made accessible on the WebDrive for your own records. You may want to encourage your student to begin the requisite actions in advance of the due date.

I include below the notice sent to students.

Regards,
Daniel.
PH450 Project Co-ordinator.

The PH450 Project Progress Report is due at 4pm Friday 2nd December 2016. A Word DOC template is available on MyPlace. The report should concisely and clearly list the points of progress made in your project (the whole form should only be 1 side of A4).

You should hand in a signed and dated paper version to JA8.31 by the due date. Your supervisors may provide feedback and also give mid-course guidance. Additionally, you should also submit an electronic version of the report in PDF format on MyPlace for ease of record keeping (this version does not need to be signed).

The progress report is not formally assessed but is important to make sure your project is on track and is an opportunity for you to reflect on your work to date.

Dr Daniel Oi
PH450 Project Co-ordinator.
