Barbara,

Many thanks for your call earlier. I have attached a document which explains the structure of the Board of Governors of Hutchesons' Educational Trust.

The Board is the governing body of Hutchesons' Grammar School, and as such has overall strategic responsibility for education, HR, property, development, marketing and finance matters.

Governors are asked to commit to attending 5 Board meetings and 4 sub-committee meetings each academic session. In addition, a Governors' Away Day is held annually, usually in October, which involves a day of meetings (including one of the 5 Board meetings) at an external venue, followed by optional dinner and overnight stay.
