[Academic] ONR Global: Visit from programme manager Bill Suski, Wednesday 18th January

Hi Everyone,

On Wednesday next week, Bill Suski - a programme manager from ONR Global - will be visiting us. ONR Global is a subsidiary of the US Office of Naval Research, and have their own budget for funding research projects, as well as visits to the US.

From 10am - 11am in JA 5.05, Bill will give a brief overview of the opportunities that are available, and offer a general question and answer session. This is open to anyone who might be interested.

In addition, Bill is interested in meeting people to learn about our work in different areas to talk about the research we are doing, and to explore how they might relate to the ONR Global research portfolio. He is particularly interested in hearing more about our work on quantum technologies - especially in communication, computation and other underpinning technologies that develop cyber/communications/information capabilities. However, anyone who might have relevant work for ONR, or who has collaboration with US groups funded by ONR is welcome to make an appointment.

If you’d like to hear the talk, please turn up to JA 5.05 at 10am on Wednesday (18th January).
