[Academic] PG-R Convenor Duties (January 2017)

Dear All,

The University has recently modified the role of the Convenor during PGR viva examinations. The main change is that the Convenor is now asked to make a brief record of the viva for transmission to Student Business along with the rest of the forms. This is not meant to be an onerous task but will take a bit of getting used to until we understand exactly what is required. I have modified our Convenor check list information and will circulate to those of you Convening vivas as needed. Can I ask that anyone Convening a viva in the near future pops along for a quick chat with me beforehand so that I can advise?
