Please find information of the SU2P Annual Symposium to be held on the 5th and 6th April at Heriot Watt University.

Please encourage your students to register. Registration for students is a refundable £50 and there is an opportunity to present a poster at the meeting.

Please bring this meeting to the attention of anyone you think might be interested in attending.

The Speakers for the 8th SU2P Symposium are now all confirmed and we will  be providing  further details as soon as we can. For now the list of speakers is on the  website on the symposium registration page.

Also on the website is the latest newsletter with a brief report on our successful networking event during Photonics West and further details about the  symposium.

The symposium programme will be available  later this week on the  website.

There are some important changes to the symposium this year if you are a student at one of the SU2P partner  institutions as we are charging you an all- inclusive fee up front and this will be refunded as long as you attend according to your registration.

For students from non SU2P institutions we wish to encourage you to  come so we are offering a £50 registration fee for the conference sessions. If you also wish to attend the symposium banquet then please contact me directly.

If you have any queries relating to the  symposium then please contact me.

Most importantly PLEASE REGISTER NOW! Do not leave it till the last minute as there is a firm cut -off date and  no registrations will  be  accepted after that date.

Submissions for posters and images are being accepted but remember you  must  be registered for the symposium in order to submit.

Students wishing to apply to  give a presentation must have their supervisor’s  permission and support AND be registered for the symposium!
