Dear All

We started the selection process for the MSc students, in the end in a
similar way as for the 4th year project with a booklet of potential
projects on Myplace and a signature of the potential supervisor
required. As it took so long to get the projects in and the exam
preparation started, I decided to give them a lot of time to give equal
opportunity independent of the individual exam schedule. So the deadline
is only 12/5.

For those students who negotiated individual projects with one of you,
this does not apply. Supervisor and student will get an email from
Melanie to confirm that we have it on the record.

We are still slightly short of projects matching student interest and
course choice, i.e. in optics/photonics/spectroscopy of nano and solid
state system. So further project suggestions are still needed and will
be added to the book.

Thanks very much to already supplied project(s).

Regards

Thorsten
