[Academic] Fwd: University Open Days

Dear all,

Thanks to the 3 people who have so far volunteered to help at the first 
open day on Tuesday and the 4 for the second one in October.

Ideally we would want ~10 for Tuesday and ~6 for Thursday to spread the 
load so we are still well short, particularly for Tuesday.

If you are available for a couple of hours on either day, I'd be 
grateful if you could let me or Melanie know.

I know there are several people (including me) who will be attending the 
QuAMP conference on Tuesday.

This year's University Open Days will take place on :

Tuesday 5 September 2017 - 9.30am to 2.30pm
Saturday 7 October 2017 - 10am to 2pm

We will need volunteers to assist with manning the departmental stand
and hosting visitors. If you can help out on either day then please let me and Melanie know.
