The planning for the new L&T Building has now reached phase 3 and the AV requirements in the rooms within it are now being decided. Could I ask you to consult with your colleagues in your departments and let me have any comments by close of play on Friday this week? Dear colleagues,

Please find attached the general AV specification for L&T rooms within the new Learning & Teaching building, prepared by Campbell Jamieson (Learning Space Manager, ISD).

As discussed at our recent meeting, this document proposes an initial advisory specification for each room, subject to consultation.  Can you please invite review and feedback on these proposals by your Faculty asap.  Input and feedback will also be invited at tomorrow’s Learning and Teaching User Group meeting.

As you will see, the room specification is based on 1 of 4 different template designs (T1, T2, T3 and T4) utilised for each room.   Room layout information is included towards the middle of the document (p17) and fully marked-up floor plans, for each Level of the building, are included in the attached zip file.

If you have any specific questions or feedback, I would appreciate if you can please liaise directly with Campbell.
