[Academic] PH450 Projects: Safety Induction Record Form

To PH450 Project Supervisors,


Just a reminder that the PH450 Project Safety Induction Forms are due today. All students (experimental, theory, or computational) must have attended a General Safety Induction session. Experimental students should have had all relevant safety training before having stepped into the lab.



For students spending a long time at a computer, they may also want to be familiarised with Display Screen Equipment (DSE) guidelines http://www.hse.gov.uk/msd/dse/ and https://moss.strath.ac.uk/physics/safety/General%20Information/Health%20and%20Safety%20(Display%20Screen%20Equipment)%20Regulations%201992.pdf

This training should be recorded on the Safety Induction Form and the supervisor will need to sign it to confirm. Forms should be handed in to JA8.31.
