Dear all,
Peter Cormack, Associate Dean (International Research) has requested that we start thinking about priority international strategic partnership activities that we would like to put forward for funding in 2018/19 (see below). No deadline as yet, which gives us time to consider opportunities. If you'd like to discuss any ideas with me please get in touch.
Thanks,
G.

Subject: Global Engagements International Strategic Partnerships - Faculty Strategic Plan for 2018/19
Dear Roma, Mikhail, Gail, Tell and Marie,
By the end of the 2017/18 financial year, all 7 of the planned activities proposed in the Faculty of Science's GE ISP Strategic Plan for 2017/18 were funded.
We are now looking ahead to, and planning for, the GE ISP strategic plan for 2018/19. As a part of this, I am compiling a summary of the progress made against the activities funded through the 2017/18 round, but I need you to start thinking about the priority ISP activities that you would like to see funded in 2018/19 within your Departments. I'll provide more guidance on this in due course, but please put your thinking caps on already.
As far as I know, the budget for the GE ISP Strand in 2018/19 is not yet set in stone, however matched funding at a level of 50% will be on offer (as per 2017/18). In 2017/18 we received £25,500 from the Centre to support our 7 activities; most likely, the money on offer from the Centre in 2018/19 will be a bit less than this.
Regards,
Peter
