Since I’m away next week, please respond by tomorrow if you want to pass on any textbooks to students or landfill.

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to all who replied to my original email last week. As promised, a brief reminder to let you know I will be on campus on Tuesday 23rd October from 10am to collect any unwanted books. If you missed my last email, and would like to take part, please follow the steps below, complete our online form (link below) or reply to this email and I will collect your books.

1- Reply with your office number and approximate quantity of books to indicate you want your textbooks removed, or complete our online form: http://www.bookharvest.co.uk/need-collection.html

2- Please find a safe place* to leave your text books before 10am on Tuesday 23rd October. Please note we are able to collect any book regardless of age, subject matter, condition with an ISBN but are unable to collect journals, conference proceedings or annual reports.

3- Wherever you leave your books, please clearly mark them ‘For Book Harvest’

4- Sit back in your newly streamlined office and enjoy the extra space you have created!

*NB – Please ensure wherever you choose to leave your books complies with all fire and health and safety requirements and does not cause any obstruction. We are happy to collect your books from any accessible point on campus, so recommend a reception desk, admin office or other suitable location.
