The deadline for SEA studentship applications (i.e. those based on a
named student) is approaching - the department will need to receive
submissions by 5th March.
These are funded by either EPSRC (typically for 42 months, UK or EU (if
resident in the UK continuously for previous 3 years)) or University
funds (typically for 36 months, UK or EU)
Please let me know if you have a candidate in mind for these studentships.
A reminder of what will be required for the application :
- student CV
- two references
- transcripts for undergraduate/Masters degrees
- ~£5K p.a. supervisor contribution to studentship. Contact me for the
breakdown of contributions (University/faculty/supervisor) for each type
of studentship (EPSRC or University).
Applications should be submitted via the PGRapps system (see the
"guidance" tab for additional information). You can start and save draft
submissions anytime.
If you've any questions, please get in touch.
Thanks
Gordon
