[Academic] PH450: Viva Scheduling and Availability

Dear All,

I am starting to construct the 4th Year Project Viva timetable. For each project, I will assign 3 report markers (Primary Supervisor, Independent Marker, Chair of the Examining Committee) who will also be present at the viva. I shall look to evenly spread out the roles of Independent Markers and Chairs (volunteers welcome).

Academic and Senior Research staff, please send me an indication of periods of unavailability in the period 15th April to 17th May (Exam Period). This is so that I can schedule the vivas taking into account student exams and when the Examining Committee are available.

Notes:

-          Final reports are due to be handed in 1st April and I shall place them up on idrive soon after for people to download.

-          It is anticipated that most vivas will take place a few days after the student's final exam. In some cases, they may occur in a suitable gap between exams or at the beginning of the exam period.
