As part of the process for our quinquennial review in October, the University is conducting an analysis of our assessment and feedback processes. A brief explanation is included in the attached pdf.

This project includes a survey which teaching staff are asked to fill in.

I would be very grateful if you would complete this by 26th March.  Please see below for details.

As part of the TESTA project we are doing with the Physics Department, we would like teaching staff in the Department to complete a questionnaire about how you think the BSc / MPhys Physics students feel about assessment and feedback. Please complete the questionnaire by 26th March.

The questionnaire is at: https://strath.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8f97ISv7GkrnGf3

Your response is anonymous, and the results will be used in the TESTA report that is confidential to the Physics Department. (We may also combine the data with that from other programmes for research purposes, but only aggregated data would ever be reported). The TESTA report will be discussed in detail at a meeting later in the semester.

The purpose of this questionnaire is to provide some quantitative data that we can compare with student questionnaire responses in order to find areas of similarity and difference. Please try and give your impression of how students experience the programme as a whole.

The questionnaire contains 34 relatively simple questions, and should only take 10 minutes max to complete. Thanks very much for your help.
