Message for academic staff:
Strathclyde is involved with the VisNET EPSRC Inclusion Matters project aimed at remodelling the implicit rules of networking and collaborations in STEM academia.
They are particularly keen to attract representatives from industry, including in the area of new energy, precision medicine, synthetic biology, aerospace and water and sanitation.
The invitation (see below) is also open to both established and early career academics who may be in their first academic position. There is capacity for around 100 potential collaborators to attend. Also attending will be a cohort of female post-doc researchers who are looking to build new collaborations at the event (they are the focus of the research project).
The networking event is for anyone who is interested, who is either an industry representative or member of academic staff and would be keen to engage at the event as a collaborator.
