Subject: APPROVED Semester 2 Exam Timetable

Dear all

The approved timetable has now been released to students today and they have one week in which to review the timetable and report back with any issues. The deadline for any feedback is next Thursday 5 March, with the final version of the timetable scheduled for release on Friday 6 March.  The updated timetable has been uploaded to our SharePoint<https://moss.strath.ac.uk/inst/studentlifecycle/exams/SitePages/Home.aspx> site.

Please note: since the draft timetable there have been a couple of amendments to the locations of some exams.

In preparation for the opening of the paper upload pages once the timetable has been finalised please can you confirm who should have access to this facility within your department so that we can ensure the appropriate people have the relevant access.

The draft exam timetable for the Semester 2 exams is now available from the exams Sharepoint page<https://moss.strath.ac.uk/inst/studentlifecycle/exams/SitePages/Home.aspx>

Please can you review the exams for your department carefully and contact us immediately if you identify any issues.
This timetable represents the best possible that we have been able to achieve in the constraints, please consider your amendment requests in this light as any changes are likely to be detrimental at this stage.

The deadline for any amendment requests is Friday 21/02/20 and these should submitted by email to exams-admin at strath.ac.uk<mailto:exams-admin at strath.ac.uk>

If you have no amendment requests can you please email to let us know that you have checked and approve the draft timetable.

To help you understand how we have scheduled and prioritised the exams, and so that you can manage student expectations accordingly, we have extracted the following stats for you -

*         645 exams scheduled over the diet for 13,595 students.

o   298 exams are part of a joint grouping, which places significant added constraints during scheduling

*         There are only 3 students who have a same day exam and these are due to fixed date and time constraints set by the department.
