Dear All,
In light of the current situation, we need to look at ways of delivering
our course material partially or fully online in the coming semester. In
order to develop a workable approach we would appreciate your input.
In particular, if you were involved in teaching post-16th March, it
would be very helpful if you could let us know of any useful information
on how you delivered your course material, how long it took to prepare
the material for delivery, and if you had any response from the students
to the new form of delivery. Your feedback is very important as it will
help support our new teaching strategy (this will also assist the Faculty).
If you have such information, could you please respond to this e-mail by
the end of this week. Please consider the following information, where
appropriate:
1a) How did you deliver your lectures – e.g. live via zoom,
pre-recorded, some other method?
1b) How much additional time did this require?
2a) How did you deliver your tutorials – e.g. live via zoom,
pre-recorded, some other method?
2b) How much additional time did this require?
2c) Was any additional technology (e.g. document camera, tablet)
required and how well did this work?
3) Did you get any feedback from the students about your new approach?
4) What would you keep and what would you change?
5) Any other useful information
Many Thanks,
Brian.
