Library Reading List Service for Semester One – software training, online help guides and submission deadlines.



Since the launch of the Library’s new Reading List software in 2019, over 680 new-style reading lists have been created and made available to students via Myplace. The new-style reading lists allow for the creation of direct links to journal articles, ebooks in the Library’s collections, online sources such as blogs, newspaper articles and much more. Colleagues wishing to make use of the Reading List service for Semester One are asked to note the following:



  *   Deadline for receipt of lists for creation or editing by Library staff – 3rd August 2020 for modules starting in September 2020.
  *   Those staff wishing to create or edit their own list can find detailed guidance in the Reading List handbook: https://guides.lib.strath.ac.uk/readinglists/handbook
  *   Training sessions for anyone new to the Reading List service have been arranged. These will be delivered online using Zoom. Full details and a link to book a place can be found here: https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/4196
