[Academic] Library: Dawsonera ebook platform defunct 31st July 2020

Below are information from the Library regarding the Dawsonera e-book platform.

As you may already know Dawson/Bertram Books are in administration.  The Dawsonera platform will be defunct from 31st July 2020.  The Library is working with the new provider, Askews & Holts, to transfer as many eBooks as possible to their VLeBooks platform.  We will also work with other eBook providers to ensure continued access to as many eBook titles as possible.



Please take a note of the following actions:



eBooks for the July/August 2020 resit diet

If you make use of eBooks for any resit exams then please notify us (Email: elaine.blair at strath.ac.uk<mailto:elaine.blair at strath.ac.uk>) as soon as possible of the title of the eBook so that we can prioritise alternate access.



Notes on Dawsonera

If you have any notes saved on the Dawsonera platform then please download these in advance of 31st July as they are unlikely to be transferred to the new platform.
