Message for academic staff:
The University is offering a 90 minute course to help staff who deal with students in distress:
Ask, Tell Animation awareness raising sessions via zoom
Support our own and others' mental health
Ask, Tell Animations are a series of short clips that have been developed by Public Health Scotland.
These animations offer the opportunity for discussion around Mental Health, ways to protect and support our own and others' mental health.
The importance of listening and how to have a healthy, non-judgemental conversation.
Recognising when someone is in distress or thinking about suicide and how to respond and support them.
