Subject: RKES Portal Goes Live

Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to announce the launch of the new RKES Portal.

RKES Portal Goes Live

Research and Knowledge Exchange Services (RKES) have launched a new SharePoint site, the RKES Portal<https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fstrath.sharepoint.com%2Fsites%2Frkes%2F&data=02%7C01%7Ckirsten.munro%40strath.ac.uk%7Cb979f0183dfb4a18dacb08d8608c9153%7C631e0763153347eba5cd0457bee5944e%7C0%7C0%7C637365504130357636&sdata=PJJ5Jijaw4YS7TFB%2B8ioxwQ%2FWA%2BKo8bEopmyKyaLftA%3D&reserved=0>, to help staff to find useful information and guidance. This includes how to find funding for research or knowledge exchange projects, ensuring research excellence and engaging the public in your research. There are also lots of useful training guides, policy documents and templates as well as contact information for the relevant members of staff who can help you with each aspect of this.

Director, Alison McFarlane, said “The University has ambitious Research and Knowledge Exchange targets and we are, of course, always available to facilitate and support the development and execution of successful grants and contracts. However, it is worth spending a few moments looking at the new RKES Portal to find out all the ways we can support you. We’re really pleased with the new site and I think this will significantly add to the ways in which we already support academics, postgraduates and professional services staff.”

The site is the result of a six month project to completely overhaul the online information RKES provides, making it easier to find the information needed and the right person to help. Earlier this year we were very pleased to have had over 200 responses to a staff survey which has fed into this process and we will continue to improve this site in line with feedback.

Regards,

PGR Funding Team
