The Royal Microscopical Society (RMS) has just launched the first RMS Early Career Award competition. This scheme is designed to recognise the accomplishments of our Early Career members and will culminate in a virtual showcase via the @RMS_EarlyCareer Twitter feed.

Applicants are asked to submit the following to be considered for the award:

  *   A statement outlining the merits of the applicant and their suitability for the award (300 words max.)
  *   A short letter of support from a senior member of the imaging community
  *   A twitter-friendly 140 second max. video introducing their research/contribution as an early-career imaging scientist, which will be shared with the RMS Early Career community

The winning applicant will be the recipient of the RMS's first Early Career Medal and receive free registration to MMC2021 where they will be invited to deliver a keynote presentation of their research at the Early Career Satellite meeting.
