[Academic] Library: Update on delivery of services - Monday 11th January 2021

Below is information from the Library about changes to
opening hours and access due to the COVID-19 situation.

In light of the continuing and evolving COVID-19 situation there have been some changes to the delivery of Library services, starting today, 11th January 2021.



Until further notice:



  *   Opening hours for the Andersonian Library will be: 0900 to 1700 Monday to Friday only – there will be no weekend opening.
  *   As in previous Level 4 restrictions staff and students will be unable to access the printed collections on the shelves.
  *   The click and collect service, borrowing books and postal loans are temporarily suspended. Borrowing will be reviewed in a week’s time.
  *   Enquiry services will be provided remotely.
  *   As previously, any staff or student visiting the library must wear a face covering, unless an exemption applies. All study spaces to be to be used for solo study only, no group working is permitted. The building will have a maximum occupancy level, which will be regularly reviewed.
