[Academic] Professional society membership fees

For PhD students with research training funds (RTSG - this will mainly 
be EPSRC-funded students) - I only recently became aware that it is 
possible to have professional society membership fees (e.g. to IoP) 
covered from RTSG funds. If you've paid such fees during your PhD, you 
can claim them as an expense and charge it to your RTSG budget.
