Dear All,

The marks return spreadsheets are now in the Resit folder in your class folder on the Idrive. Please note that these sheets include all students, so to assist you to find the resit students, the exam return from the main diet is also in the same folder.

Kind regards
Audrey

Dear All,

The final version of the timetable and the guidance for students are attached (the latter slightly modified from previous version - so please use attached). These are available to staff & students on the Myplace Physics Covid-19 Info page:

https://classes.myplace.strath.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=19345

I will inform students that these are now available. I will also let students know that they should contact the module cordinators for further information on their assessments.

A suggestion for the Myplace toggle which the students will work from looks like:

A suggestion for the top of the exam script states clearly the exam duration and the upload time:

Note that we will need to arrange telephone transfers for those not on campus from your office to a personal number, as was done for the Semester 2 exams.

Thanks,

Brian.

Dear All,

Please find attached the resit exam timetable. Please check ASAP and let me know of any issues.
This information will be released to students tomorrow.

Unless otherwise agreed, the resit exam will not be an online Myplace quiz as was used for many modules in the last exam diet. The resit exams should be taken from a previous (unseen) resit paper from a previous year. The students can download this paper in pdf format from the module's Myplace page and simply write out the answers on paper, scan and upload to Myplace. This is described in the attached instructions for students. The exam duration should be the normal exam duration for that module. The students should get an extra 1 hour in addition to this duration to allow them to scan and upload their written answers. We hope this method will reduce the staff effort required.

Also attached is a draft of scanning instructions for file upload to Myplace for students. This will also be sent out soon.

Regards,

Brian.
