Subject: UKRI COVID-19 Continuing Doctoral Extension Funding - Updated Guidance Document

Dear Colleagues,

Due to a potential lack of clarity in the previous UKRI COVID-19 Continuing Doctoral Extension Funding scheme guidance document, a revised version has now been created (attached). Specifically, the guidance has been updated to highlight and clarify components which were included in email communications to relevant UKRI-funded PGRs and their primary Supervisors, but which did not feature prominently enough in the guidance document.


UKRI-funded PGRs who are funded through centrally managed UKRI grants (ICASE, SRSS, NPIF, Mathematical Sciences grants) were individually contacted initially with information on the scheme, application form and guidance. We would appreciate if you could disseminate this updated guidance document to PGR students within your Departments, noting that this is only relevant to students who have already been contacted about the UKRI COVID-19 Continuing Doctoral Extension Funding scheme. We have also shared the document with Faculty colleagues.
