Dear all,

Stefan Kuhr has requested that any funding proposals involving colleagues within the Department and with a value exceeding £250k are to be sent to him for approval two weeks before the intended submission date. The purpose of this is to ensure quality, and applicants can expect comments from Stefan mainly on the scientific case.

For UKRI proposals, the information sent to Stefan should comprise the full Je-S form and an outline of the project costs (e.g. a PDF of a draft CPM etc). For other funding bodies, please send the equivalent scientific and financial information.

The existing pre-review scheme within the Department (all URKI proposals exceeding £100k without external collaborators) will remain in place.
