Dear All,
Just a quick reminder of the new teaching email protocol, which was alluded to in an email that I sent yesterday.
Your first port of call for information for students and yourselves is two Myplace pages, the Physics Personal Development Page and the Physics Covid 19 page. Encourage students to use them too. Familiarise yourselves with them. We will update them and add further information as required.

After you have looked on both pages and have not found the required information, or if the information is not clear to you, you should, in the first instance, email the Year Coordinator (Adviser of Study) for the appropriate year’s teaching or student.
AoS/YCs physics-yr1-coordinator at strath.ac.uk<mailto:physics-yr1-coordinator at strath.ac.uk> (adapt to year)
Email the relevant year coordinator(s) only. Do not copy in the Director of Teaching or the Deputy Director of Teaching. If the Year Coordinators do not know the answer, or need advice, then they will pass the inquiry to the DDoT and so on.
This does not mean that you can never email the DDoT or the DoT, just that you should do so sparingly.
Repeat offenders will eventually begin to be replied to with this email, especially if the information that they require is on one of the Myplace pages.
If you do need to email the DDoT or the DoT directly (again, normally only one of us), please use

physics-director-teaching at strath.ac.uk<mailto:physics-director-teaching at strath.ac.uk>
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Best
John
