Dear All,
Please could you arrange to have a short meeting with your academic
family (i.e. all of your PDA students) within the next week or two.
The students should complete the PDA form on the Physics Personal
Development (PPD) page
(https://classes.myplace.strath.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=25509) and send
it to you before the meeting. For years 2 - 5 we are trying to find out
how things went last year and in year 1 we are mainly trying to make
sure that they are aware of what support is available to them and have
signed up with disability services if necessary (template forms are
attached).
Students may tick a box on the form to indicate that they would also
like a private meeting to discuss personal issues.
After the meeting students should upload their completed PDA forms using
the form submission link on the PPD page. If you have any feedback from
the meetings that you think would be useful, please can you let the
relevant year coordinator know.
You can get a list of your year 2 - 5 PDA students on Pegasus (Student
experience >> Your student responsibilities). You should have received
an e-mail a couple of weeks ago with your 1st year allocation.
Thanks very much.
Alison
