[Academic] December exam/class test timetable

Dear All,

Please find attached a copy of the timetable for the December 
exams/class tests. Please can you check that your module is listed 
correctly and that the duration of the assessment is correct.

Exams, will run through MyPlace in the same way as December 2020 and 
those that may require solutions to be uploaded should have an 
additional time added for this, as shown.

Class tests, which are done via Myplace quizzes, should be formatted 
such that all the questions are on a single page. As in previous years, 
we will not expect them to upload their working for the class tests. A 
"grace period" of 15 minutes should be set up to account for any 
internet issues and/or slow response from Myplace.  In line with 
University guidance, the students should not be made aware of this. This 
can be set up in the "Timing" section of the quiz as shown:


*Please can you let me know by 11am tomorrow (Friday)* if there is 
anything that needs changed so that we can release the timetable to the 
students on Friday afternoon. A copy of the timetable will be made 
available to the students on the Physics Covid-19 page, but the 
assessment details for each module should also be provided on the 
relevant Myplace page. Please make sure that your students have clear 
instructions on timings and format.

As before, staff should also supply a contact number for the students in 
case of any problems on the day. Please let me know by the *end of next 
week* if you need a redirect set up from your office phone to your 
home/mobile by sending me a note of your extension and the number it 
should be redirected to.

NB: The copy of the timetable on the covid page will be kept up-to-date 
with any late changes so you may also want to link to that.
