Please share this statement from Strathclyde Online Committee with staff regarding the University’s requirements on the recording and use of audio and video teaching materials.



Senate has approved, revised and updated Video Performance Rights Consent Forms and Guidance documentation which is effective from 26 January 2022.

Approval by Senate concludes a lengthy and robust process to develop updated consent forms and guidance through consultation and input from SOL Faculty Representatives, the Unions, Human Resources, and the Information, Governance and Compliance unit.

Following Senate approval of this guidance, work is progressing on the development of an online version of the Audio and Video Consent Form for Teaching Materials for University Staff.
