[Academic] Change to approval process for visitors

Dear all,

Good news - we no longer need approval from the Dean for any visitors who are coming for less than 2 weeks.  The new advice from Faculty is:

  *   Visitors who are visiting for 2 weeks or less should be provided with a risk assessment and Covid-19 Health and Safety Leaflet / Departmental Safety Induction for Visitors by the department. No return to campus application or Dean’s authorisation is required.
  *
  *   It is only where visitors are visiting over two weeks that in addition to the things listed above, a Covid-19 Return to Campus Application Form and authorisation is required from the Dean.

The second bullet point generally refers to visiting researchers/academics.

I have attached the JA risk assessment and H&S leaflets mentioned in bullet point 1. Please give these to visitors.  (TIC visitors will have a different RA.)  I don't need to know about them any more!
Please continue to inform me of any visitors coming for more than 2 weeks and I can help with the approval process.
