The 2022/23 John Anderson Research Award (JARA) studentship scheme is open for applications and please note that the deadline is earlier this year.

The Faculty deadline for completed applications to be submitted on the PGR Studentship System<https://pgrapps.strath.ac.uk/members.php> is Monday 23 May 2022.

Please note that applications that are not fully complete, with all required documents attached, cannot be considered.

As in previous years, a minimum of 15% of the full funding package must come from an external source. Evidence of external funding, specifying the amount contributed, must be provided at the point of application. Home fee status students cannot contribute towards their funding packages. International (overseas fee status) students are permitted to contribute a maximum of the difference between the Home fee and International fee.

Minimum External Funding Requirements (15% of funding packages) for 3-year studentships:
Home (All Faculties) - £9,577.80
International Science - £17,414.40
International Maths & Stats - £15,276.90
International CIS - £16,334.40
