Dear All,
We are looking forward to welcoming our students back onto campus properly after the difficulties of the last couple of years. As many students have missed out on a significant amount of interaction with both staff and other students, we are planning a bit more of a welcome day event than normal this year.
There will be PDA meetings in academic families (in staff offices) between 11am-11.30am on Monday the 12th. This is after the Year Coordinator talks, and the students
You will receive an updated list of your PDAs later this week.
We ask that staff bring all of their PDA students to level 5 after the PDA meeting. Drinks & snacks will be available, and the students will have a chance to see some of the societies that they might be interested in joining as well as mingling with staff and other students.
For this to work it will be important to have as many staff as possible taking part, in particular the PDA staff, and I would appreciate your support on this. Please can you try to ensure that you are free from 11am – 12.30pm on Monday 12th September to meet your PDA students and attend the welcome meeting.
Many thanks
Ben
