There will be a presentation about summer project opportunities in the Department to 3rd and 4th year undergraduates on Wednesday (16th Nov) at 2pm in JA412.
As far as I know, all the usual schemes which support summer projects in the Department (Carnegie, EPSRC, Research Interns @ Strathclyde) are running this year, with the Rank Foundation also expected to be open to applications for projects related to optoelectronics.
The presentation is relatively early due to the Carnegie deadline now being at the end of January. The other scheme deadlines are expected to be ~March 2023.
If you want to advertise a project, please either come along to the meeting or send me a slide/some text and I'll advertise it for you. I realise some of you will be at PH550 talks during this time.
Projects will also be advertised via the "Physics Summer Projects" MyPlace page (https://classes.myplace.strath.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=16846) which includes links to funding sources with additional information and deadlines.
