Dear Colleagues,

I would like to strongly encourage you to take part in Strathclyde's CEDARS 2023 survey which is currently open and will run until 31st May 2023.

The survey gathers the anonymous views and experiences of research and academic staff from across the University. It will provide valuable information on how we can improve the research experience for Strathclyde's research and academic community, as well as informing direct actions in the context of the University's implementation of the Researcher Development Concordat<https://strath.sharepoint.com/sites/rkedev/SitePages/Researcher-Development-Concordat.aspx>.

Your input and that of your colleagues is therefore very important and much appreciated by the University as well as this Department/School.

I would like to ask for your help through:

  1. taking part in the CEDARS survey - you can participate here<https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/cedars23/strathclyde> and find out more about the survey here<https://view.pagetiger.com/cedars-survey/cedars-survey-2023>; and
  2. sharing the survey communications (and links) with the research staff members in your research group and encouraging them to also participate.

It should take approximately 20 minutes or less to complete the online questionnaire.
Excitingly, for every survey response a 75p donation will be made this year to Strathclyde's Alumni Fund Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme which supports students from disadvantaged areas to be able to go to university.

To make sure that the survey results are meaningful, it is important that we receive a diverse and wide range of views from across all staff levels.

Thank you and best regards,

Stefan
