[Academic] Call for Colloquia Speaker Suggestions

I am looking for speaker suggestions for the John Anderson Colloquia Speakers for the 2023-24 session. The JA Colloquia feature speakers who are able to engage the entire department at a general non-specialist level to provide a wider perspective of notable topics or areas of research.

Colloquia speakers can be local, national, or international. There is a modest budget to support travel, though co-funding or coordination with previously arranged visits will help with stretching our visitor resources.

The colloquia are held fortnightly during the Semester on Wednesday afternoons 15:00-16:00 with tea/coffee in the Common Room afterwards. All PhD students are expected to attend.
