Dear Members of FAC and FLEC,
Please see below information on completion rates for the Digital Accessibility Awareness Sessions. We would welcome your support in raising awareness of these sessions and encouraging colleagues to attend. If we get updated figures during the semester we will bring these to FLEC and/or FAC for discussion.
Best wishes,
Debbie.

Subject: Digital Accessibility training numbers
Good afternoon,
At the last Student Experience update meeting I said I would circulate numbers of attendees to Digital Accessibility Awareness sessions as I had reported that the majority of attendees have been from Professional Services.
Staff can book places on the Introduction to Digital Accessibility<https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/6302> training course.
I’m planning to get these numbers into a Power BI dashboard that I can share with you, so that we can drill down further, but here’s a snapshot as of today.

The course is not currently mandatory, but as accessibility compliance is a legal obligation, we may need to move down that route.
On a positive note, we have been able to advertise our Digital Accessibility Trainer<https://strathvacancies.engageats.co.uk/Vacancies/W/1318/0/399536/15019/digital-trainer-550820> role again, so we will be able to increase training provision and develop additional courses and material when they are in post.
Please let me know if you have any questions
Kind regards
Lisa
